The Village of West Carthage is currently working with the Village of Carthage to perform a feasibility study of consolidation of the village police departments. The villages are asking for assistance for the STUDY only. The Village of West Carthage will use the results of the study to help us decide if it is in the best interests of our residents to combine police departments.
This is a study only. At this time, we are not merging the police departments.
